Just a few random thoughts and events, or lack there of, involved in the life of ME

Not much to report from this weekend.... I went to see Anger Management on Friday with Julie and it was hilarious! I want to see it again soon. Plus I'll get to drool over Adam Sandler for another 2 hours if I do go.
Later that night I went to Quote (a bar downtown) cause Lynn had won a happy hour party there with free food and drinks for an hour. So I had about 5 beer in an hour then Kelly and I had to go to a stupid concert for my BPO class, but I faked sick and left early. I went back downtown to meet Lynn and Rachel because Rachel had a party from 9-11 at Quote that was also free drinks. So I went back and drank some more. Jake was there with Pinky, Conner, Dan, and Bogner so I hung out with them, and met some other boys that Rachel knew who were pretty cute. After a while I just got to drunk and tired to be there anymore so Lynn, Rachel and I left around 1am and passed out back here. (but look for my pic at www.buffalobarfly.com after Wednesday under the pics from Quote on April 11)
Saturday Lynn left to go meet Clay in Rochester for the night, and Kristin was already home cause she was sick, and Katie was also home for a wedding or something, so I was left all by myself. Julie and I decided to hang out cause it was beautiful out and we had to take advantage of it. We hung out on her porch then went to get more beer and went to Pinky's. The house I stayed at with Sean is right across the street from Pinky's, and a bunch of the players were out, so it was a little embarassing to see them all again sober, lol, but it wasn't that big of a deal I guess. Pinky was on his way with Jake to go to the park, but I didn't feel like going so Jules and I brought the beer back to my place and drank on my lawn. We played some b-ball with the little boys next door and then Julie went to see her newborn niece. That was pretty much the end of the day for me. I just went to Pinky's for a bit later to watch a movie with the boys, then came back here and went to bed in my big empty apartment...
Today was pretty productive. I actually went to the library (shocking!) and did some work. Katie had free tickets to see Rusted Root in Niagara Falls, who I was pretty into around 8th/9th grade, but I stayed in to do work, how pathetic am I???

I have so much work, I hate school! (but that doesn't mean I want to leave it!)

Oh yeah, Ft. Lauderdale in 6 days!!!!!

oh yeah, Friday was Erica's berfday, so go shorty!

this week was pretty low key. I had a lot of work to do, so I didn't go out at all. I had the worst migraine of my life on Wednesday, so that was fun. I almost went to the ER cause I was in so much pain. Eventually I was able to fall asleep and when I woke up in the AM I was fine.

Thursday night I was planning on driving home to Geneva with Kristin so we could leave for Boston on Friday morning. We ended up not staying for our night class because our teacher understood that the weather was getting bad and allowed us to get on the road early. So we drove to Geneva, through some pretty bad conditions, but made it safely. We went to bed and prayed that the weather would improve so we could go to Boston.

Friday we got up and started getting ready. My mom and dad kept lecturing me and saying I shouldn't go because Syracuse, Albany, and Western New England were getting hit with a severe ice storm. So I kept checking the weather, and it didn't look good at all. So Kristin and I decided not to risk our lives by driving to Boston. I called Tim and told him that I wasn't going to be able to make it. It was hard to tell him cause it is his birthday weekend, and he was really looking forward to seeing me, as I was to seeing him. So Krissy and I just moped around all day, went to lunch at Ciccino's and then my parents took us to the Deluxe for dinner. On our way back, we noticed that the power was out in our neighborhood. So we came home to a cold, dark house. Joe and Stacey came over later on and we played board games and drinking games in the candle light. Since the power was out, the bars were closed, so we didn't end up going out, but we still had fun.

Saturday the power was still out, so it limited the things we could do. We decided to stay another night just because there wasn't going to be anything to do in Buffalo, so we figured we might as well stay in Geneva and rough it. My dad "toasted" some bagels on the grill, lol, and we played some more games with my parents. Eventually the power came on around 3:30pm and we were able to shower and get ready. Joe, Stacey, Kristin and I went to dinner at, you guessed it, Ciccino's. We were all stuffed and went back to my house to drink and watch the SU game. Although we had power, most on Geneva didn't, so we didn't get to go to the bars, which was disappointing, but I am still glad I got to see Joe and Stacey, and spend time with my parents.

Today Krissy and I just got up and drove back to Buffalo. I don't know how I thought I was going to have time to get all my work done if I had gone to Boston, because I don't even have enough time to do it all now and I've been home since 3 o'clock. I still have a lot to do, since only one person from my group of 7 decided to meet tonight to finish the project, so I better get to it. Wish me luck on my 2 tests tomorrow!!!

So Saturday Lynn and I super cleaned our apartment because Kristin's friends were coming, and let's face it, the place really needed it. After that we got ready for the night ahead of us. I wasn't planning on drinking a lot cause I had to work at 9am (yuck), but Katie came down from upstairs and said that my friend Bridgette from UB who I hadn't seen in like a year was up there. So I ran up there and we both flipped out cause it'd been so long, then we went down to my apartment and started drinking some wine. Katie, Lynn and Kristin joined us and we started grilling Bridgette about Sorority Life II on MTV because she is on it (she's the hot, skinny, blonde with short spiky hair). After she answered all our questions we were getting pretty drunk, so her and I went upstairs and glued change to the floor in the kitchen so the guys would try and pick it up. Eventually everyone walked over to the hockey house for a party. I don't remember much besides Lynn taking like 50 pictures. I called a shuttle to leave I think around 1am (I have no concept of time). While I was waiting outside, I ran into Crazy Steve, this guy I use to like freshman year and made out with one night a long time ago (it's strange how I make out so much, not so much strange as it is cool, lol). He showed me his apartment cause he lives next to the hockey house, then he gave me a ride to my apartment and I gave him a tour as well. We sat out on my porch for a bit catching up. His girlfriend and he aren't getting along, and she is my arch-nemesis, so I'm sure I was no help in trying to reconcile the relationship, lol. Then we hugged and kissed good-bye and he left me to pass out so I would make it to work. And thank god I did, cause I love Wegmans so much. (Btw that statement is saturated with sarcasm)....
