So Syracuse DID beat Cincinatti on Wednesday, in fact they went on to win 4 straight games and the Big East Championship, so Robert has been very tolerable, lol. The real test though will be this evening since they play the first round of the NCAA Tournament tonight and if they lose this after doing so well last week, it may make things harder... it's amazing how much of an influence SU basketball will have on my life, lol. Amazing and slightly pathetic...

So last weekend Steph and Erica were both in town for Saturday night. We went out downtown and did the usual Gallagher's scene, with a stop at Side Show for some shots. I know I had a good time, but details are vague. I remember talking to a few people from high school and seeing my old friend Bridget... but the rest is fuzzy. I know I had fun though, that's the important part... right?

Tomorrow is St. Patty's Day, so I'm sure I'll go out and ham it up with some of the local Micks. I am suppose to be on call at the hotel though, so that blows, but what doesn't about that job. I won't get into that now though.

Oh, I should also mention tomorrow is the 1 year anniversary of my first date with Robert...

I've decided I don't like Velvetta Shells and Cheese.... Kraft Macaroni and Cheese is much better.

I've decided that Kinnik Sky and Melissa McGhee should be kicked off American Idol.

I've decided that if Syracuse doesn't win their game against Cincinnatti today, I might not be able to tolerate my boyfriend this week/month.

I've decided I need a vacation... ANYWHERE. I'm leaning towards Niagara Falls or D.C.

I've decided that I'm going to go do an online jigsaw puzzle now, since I'm at work and that's my job.

So I'm sure you are expecting an update on my trip to Springfield and some witty stories about my time visiting with Robert's family, but I'm going to have to disappoint and say that the trip ended up being delayed and eventually cancelled by some wicked winter weather in Syracuse/Utica. We drove to Syracuse fine, watched the SU game at Steph's house, then got on the road, only to find that the road was pretty difficult to see... Those of you who know me, know I don't travel well in bad weather so I was very nervous at first. After awhile I got more use to it, but I think I was forcing myself to cause I wanted to go so bad. We got to Utica and had to turn around though because the further we went, the worse it got...

Since we didn't go to Mass., I decided to go with my parents to a brunch on Sunday, in honor of my grandfather's 82nd birthday that otherwise I would have missed. I invited Robert cause I thought it would be an excellent opportunity for him to meet my mom's side of the family since all my aunts would be there. He declined and went to his basketball game instead. This created some tension between us, since I really would have liked him to be as excited about meeting my family, as I would be to meet his. Not to mention that he has invited me to meet his extended family in the South by flying down there and I accepted without hesitation. What's done is done though, so I'll just quietly hold it against him... lol

Nothing too exciting happened last week. I went to BINGO again, and won again. Went out with Joe Thursday and Saturday. Watched Syracuse lose Sunday and watched the Oscars with Joe. Hopefully next week will have more spice to it, since this entry is pretty bland....
