Just a few random thoughts and events, or lack there of, involved in the life of ME

Feb 23, 2006

I'm seriously going to try to write in this damn thing more often. I check Joe and Erica's blogs like 20x a day and get mad when they don't write. I've come to the realization that I can't get mad at them since I don't write in mine. Also that it is pathetic that I get upset with them for not write enough stuff down that I know most of already....

So last night Steph NUZZO was in Geneva, so Stacey and I took her out to eat at Ciccino's (shocking, I know). After dinner I begged Robert to go to BINGO with Steph and I. I swear we arent' weird. BINGO is really fun! Also you can win money which I think everyone would agree is a fantastic thing. So Robert came with his friend Joe from Hillside and we attend Luau Night at St. Stephen's BINGO. Robert and I both won, but Steph and Joe went home losers. I'm pretty sure the boys are hooked now, lol.

After BINGO, we decided (hesitantly) to go out to this bar in Fayette called Bullseye's. It's a big hang out for Hillside staff, so Steph wanted to go to see some of the people she worked with when it was Kidspeace, and I wanted to go to meet some of Robert's co-workers. It turned out to be a really fun time. There weren't that many people out, but I got to meet some new people, and mingle with all the co-workers I already know! Steph and I killed it in darts too, lol.

This weekend I'm heading to Springfield, Massachusetts to meet Robert's family; His mother, Levonne, his father, John, and his sister Natalie. I'm not too nervous cause from what he tells me about them, they are great people and will be very warm to me. I'm sure I won't be nervous until we actually get there on Saturday. This is definitely a first for me... meeting the parents. I've never been introduced to any of my boyfriend's parents. I've been finding myself in a lot of "firsts" lately. It's nice to know that I'm finally maturing and having an adult relationship. Even if I have had a late start to my "coming of age", I'm just basking in the realization that it's all happening. I'll stop getting all gooey here and just say that I am happy.

You'll hear more from me soon! I promise...
